Open the pause menu newspaper. Then faction quest and Guardian of the Pororin Forest This is a section of the Hernand category.
Scroll down to the bottom and take a look below. discontinued research via dropdown Palmer Reef research halted mission. Select this mission as active and exit the menu.
You can find it by following the quest marker. Pororin Research Assistant Standing under a big tree. Talk to him and he will reveal that he needs the Palmer Leaf to resume his interrupted research.
Follow the quest marker again and it will lead you to a giant tree in a hidden part of town. The shiny green leaves growing in the patch beneath this tree are: palmer leaves. Search the leaves one by one to find the Palmer leaf. This is not guaranteed to be created, so you may have to search multiple times until you find it.
Once you get the Palmer Leaf, Return to Research Assistant Then hand him the Palmer Leaf and he will tell you that you can now resume your interrupted research.
