Through official SNS posts, Disney Dreamlight Valley shared a trailer for the Whispers of the Wind update, scheduled for April 8, 2026. The free patch allows players to befriend Pocahontas, one of Disney's most popular princesses, in-game for the first time. As seen in the video, players join Moana in following the mysterious leaves flowing in the wind around the valley. These leaves will allow fans to create memories and finally meet Pocahontas. Fans will then learn about the phenomenon that is transforming the valley's oceans and help Disney princesses create a special celebration. By inviting Pocahontas to the valley, players can design their own home and receive friendship quests. Completing this quest will also reward fans with a signature outfit for their avatar.

According to Gameloft, players will need to create a special bait to catch Meeko, Pocahontas' raccoon friend from the animated film.
