If there's one thing PlayStation fans are very excited about, it's a good Platinum Trophy. However, not all platinum is created equal, some are easier than others, and some are no platinum at all, which makes the challenge of trophy hunting that much more fun.
It's also why community-driven leaderboards have worked hard to stop counting shovelware titles in their overall metrics, and why players are so fiercely opposed to AI slop titles, even if the developers think they're doing nothing wrong.
Many people thought that FromSoftware titles were the hardest Platinum to get, but most of them were correct. In fact, some of the hardest trophies often include multiplayer requirements, and if the game in question has no or difficult servers, things get doubly worse.
After Ninja Gaiden 2, we need a remake of Ninja Gaiden Black
Ninja Gaiden Black is still great, but it could benefit greatly from some tweaks and a new look.
The same goes for Team Ninja's Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 PlayStation Vita port. But Tqvry, proud trophy hunters, can now say they have killed the beast. to the letter.
If you can get Platinum, which is impossible, you deserve a special icon or something.
As first discovered by Push Square, Tqvry can now be said to be the only one who has Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 on Vita. Platinum requires players to “successfully complete all missions on Turbo difficulty.”
In general, this should be fairly easy for seasoned Ninja Gaiden players. But what makes things difficult is the fact that there are co-op trophies and the servers no longer exist. So instead, pairing it with an AI companion and calling the AI companion useless might actually be a compliment.
It also doesn't help that, as Push Square notes, the PS Vita is fighting against the strengths of the system itself, in addition to having to deal with brain-dead AI.
Never mind. Tqvry has made it happen, and we have the entire live stream to prove it. Considering how long the game has been around and how difficult Platinum is, they might argue that they are the only ones who have ever done it. That said, one might be tempted to challenge for the crown, but one viewing of the live stream is enough proof to stay away.

If you're feeling particularly adventurous, Ninja Gaiden 2 got the Black treatment last year and is also available in Platinum. A more modest 652 players got it.
