In case you missed it, Fox McCloud is embarking on a comeback tour, and it starts about five days after the Super Mario Galaxy movie opens in theaters. After a ton of news and speculation from many fans about her appearance, Fox McCloud is indeed appearing in The Super Mario Bros. It has been revealed that he is part of the cast of the upcoming sequel to Movie.
If that wasn't enough of an announcement, Nintendo and Illumination also revealed that Glen Powell, who has appeared in quite a few fighter-related movies, will be the voice of Fox McCloud.

It's a huge moment for a franchise that's been dormant for years, and it's not just fans who are excited to see the Fox McCloud poster for the big screen movie. The same goes for his original creator.
Argonaut Games, which helped bring the original Star Fox to consoles, took to social media to see Fox in all its HD glory as part of the movie's poster.
That hype was matched by a separate post by Dylan Cuthbert, who was largely credited with giving Fox the McCloud last name.
In other words, it's a total celebration.

Following the news that Fox would be making her big screen debut, Nintendo insiders reported that Star Fox would also be coming to a console nearby before the end of the year. To be specific, the first Star Fox adventure in a decade is coming in 2026.
“Starfox is coming back in the summer of 2026. We are planning to release a new Starfox game in the very near future,” said a Natethehat insider. “I heard it's a classic style Star Fox game. [and that] The visuals look very good, and I heard that online multiplayer is also possible.”
That could explain the disclosure. If you're a Fox fan, the last 48 hours or so have been nothing short of a whirlwind of energy.
