The Crimson Desert continent of Pywel is filled with fictional wonders. From fantasy themes like dragon riding and magic to machines and jetpacks straight out of science fiction, this game covers a lot of ground. But there seems to be one aspect of this game that is closer to reality than most other games. This is how to make money.
While most other action-adventure games or RPGs only offer money as quest rewards or loot, Crimson Desert allows you to do so through investments. To earn interest, you need to open a bank account with 100 silver and deposit gold bars. Really engaging gameplay! However, finding gold bars early in the game isn't that easy if you don't know where to look.
Where to find gold bars in the Crimson Desert
As PC Gamer notes, there is actually a gold bar you can steal relatively close to the starting area of Crimson Desert. Lioncrest Manor is located northwest of the starting area. Although it's part of a later quest, you can also go inside to get the gold bars and start investing early.
The entrance is blocked, so you have to turn around to the back, climb up the wall to the right of the door, and open the window to get inside. Once inside, go downstairs to find a fireplace with a lion statue above it. Turning off the lights will give you the option to investigate the area. You'll find hidden compartments containing gold bars that you can steal. When that happens, make sure there is no one around.
Remember kids, start investing early to get the best returns. That way, you don't have to steal or win coins from people you lose in battle. He also reflects the sun with his sword like some kind of weirdo, ensuring he can afford adequate food instead of cooking it from the ground.
