This patch makes a number of in-game adjustments, including reducing the glow of the earpiece and jacket collar on Kagan's “Rive” operator skin. Additionally, players will no longer be able to escape from the Cliff Town map, and there have been UI adjustments such as emotes and spray selection wheels, operator skin unlock requirements, and more.
But for many fans, the biggest part of this update will be Season 2's ranked play. black ops 7. Essentially, Treyarch announced that the current Season 2 ranks and SRs will be frozen on March 25th, with the top 250 rewards processed and the new ranked play experience launching in the final week of March 25th-31st. Known as the Ranked Series, all players are automatically enrolled in competitive ladders from Gold to Rainbow. Each will consist of 50 players, starting at Gold and only including those who can complete Season 2 within a certain tier. Players will compete to win exclusive Season 2 rewards, including new deployment emblems, weapon camouflages, and more. Players can move up the rankings by winning matches, which grants them 31 ladder points, but losing a match results in 21 ladder points being deducted.
Zombies also saw some fixes in this update. New Paradox Junction map black ops 7 Zombies has several glitches and bugs fixed, including ending an exploit that left some players inside an unopened moving truck while traveling back in time. Double Tap Perk-a-Cola now requires two rounds to be returned to the player's magazine after quickly killing two enemies when using a regular bullet weapon rather than an Akimbo.

Ranked Play
We're changing how seasons end in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Call of Duty: Warzone ranked play, and we've got all the details below.
Some of you may be aware that ranked play for Season 02 ends in eight days, according to the in-game countdown. This is true. Current SRs will be frozen on March 25th at 9PM PT to maintain final Season 02 ranks and SRs. The next day, Top 250 rewards will be processed and a new ranked play experience will be launched for the Season 02 Ranked Series, the final week of the season.
In both Ranked Series, all participants are automatically enrolled in the competitive ranks. Gold through rainbow-colored ladders each consist of 50 players and only include players who finished Season 02 within a specific ranking (Goldman, Platinumman, etc.), with the top 250 competitors being placed on a single ladder featuring all of the top 250 competitors from Season 02. From there, players will compete for first place to earn unique rewards, including Season 02 exclusive content, including new ladder placement emblems, ladder placement weapon camouflages, and more.
