- Rad-Hounds are weak to Shadow Rift Ammo Mod.
- Shadow Rift unlocks at level 44. It can be purchased for 500 Salvage at The Arsenal.

When using Shadow Rift, you should focus on augmentations that can quickly take out enemies when activated. Rad-Hounds are very fast, so being able to quickly take out additional enemies by turning your Shadow Rift into a black hole will help keep these berserk mutts at bay.
When using ammo mods, it is always recommended to use Elemental Pop along with Vulnera Bean (increases enemy elemental weakness damage), Chill Berry (reduces elemental pop cooldown), and Citrus Focus (elemental pop only activates equipped ammo mods).
If you're struggling with Rad-Hounds' speed, make sure you have Stamin-Up. Stamin-Up allows you to fire while sprinting using Guns Up, and Footkwork allows you to increase your non-forward sprinting speed. That means you can turn around, put a bullet in this dog's face, and train the pack.
Rad-Hounds should be your top priority when they spawn, as they can run faster than regular zombies and bite you relentlessly, eating away at your health and armor.
