But Gearbox isn't just giving away skins for free. To fully unlock the skin, players will need to loot a total of 1.5 million legendary weapons and items between March 12 and Sunday, March 15. If the challenge is successful, players can go to Gearbox's SHiFT website and use a code to send the costume to their linked account. The challenge can be completed on all platforms.
