In fact, the trailer for Entrenched Division doubles down on that style by looking like an old war documentary, opening with crackling sounds and film grain before transitioning into regular high-definition footage. For starters, players will have two new armor sets to dive into, including the CPG-48 Sapper, a medium armor set. Alternatively, there is a light armor set known as the Commandant, which is a mix of armor pieces and a commander-style jacket and hat.
As for new weapons, the SMG/FLAM-34 Stalker is a basic weapon that fires bullets quickly, but hides something unique. The secondary device is actually a handheld flamethrower, giving players a new way to destroy their enemies and eliminating the need to first purchase the Freedom's Flame Warbond or equip the FLAM-40 Stratagem from Helldivers 2 before embarking on a mission. Warbond also added the P-69 Veto sidearm, which is made to look similar to the Mauser C96. For players who want to get up close to enemies, the CQC-73 Entrenchment Tool can also be used to attack enemies.

Warbond also has more personalization options, such as the Diplomatic Handshake, a cooperative emote for two players. Also included are new patterns for the Pelican, Drop Pod, Recon Vehicle, and Exosuit. The Giga Grenade is a ridiculously large throwing weapon with a large blast radius that, based on the trailer footage, is also great for taking out vehicles. Lastly, you can also unlock two new strategies, such as the A/GM-17 Gas Mortar Sentry, a self-firing sentry that fires gas canisters over a large area. For players looking for a bit more firepower, there's the B/FLAM-80 Crematorium, a massive flamethrower weapon that comes with a massive fuel tank for continuous fire.
In addition to new content Helldiver 2 is planning a highly anticipated update for March 17th. As the PC version continues to grow in size, Arrowhead Game Studios has begun testing a beta client to reduce file size in late 2025. With beta testing seemingly completed, Arrowhead is now preparing the update to be available to all players, moving from the “legacy” version at around 154GB to a much slimmer version at just 23GB.
