Ghost Of Yotei Legends lets you play Zeni Hajiki with your friends.

Ghost of Yotei is considered by most fans to have surpassed Tsushima. Sure, we all missed Jin Sakai, but Erika Ishii's performance as Atsu was even more terrible as Onryo. Critics aren't the only ones who think so, as Sony CFO Lin Tao revealed that Yotei surpassed Tsushima in the same period. With the launch of Legends Mode today, those numbers will likely go even higher.

Ghost of Yotei's Legends mode aims to improve on its predecessor in several ways, one of which includes including beloved features from the base game. The Coin Flip minigame, also known as Zeni Hajiki, is one of those minigames that you won't mind spending your time on, like Gwent from The Witcher 3. Yotei's Legends mode lets you play against your friends in the lobby.

As lead designer Darren Bridges pointed out on the PlayStation blog, “Our goal in design was to [this mode’s] The lobby was to give friends something to do while they waited for them to join. You can look at the feats you've completed and unlock cosmetic items. You can tweak your build and tweak your skill tree. However, the lobby also has some light PvP elements, such as Zeni Hajiki, a coin toss game that was present in the single-player campaign. “We heard from players (and our QA team too) that they wanted to be able to play games like that against their friends, so we did just that!”

Unlike Ghost of Tsushima's menu-based lobby, this one offers a variety of activities for you and your friends. With competitive Zeni Hajiki, you can compete on the Bamboo Strike score leaderboard and practice or test your builds in the training area.

The obvious highlight here is that you can play Ghost of Yotei's coin toss game in Legends mode as well. Most fans will have completed multiple playthroughs by now, but there's no need to return to Story Mode to play your favorite minigames again. But you can expect it to be much more difficult this time.
