How Zoro's Next Powerup Will Take Him To Mihawk Levels

Roronoa Zoro is the first person to join Luffy on his journey to become the Pirate King. Luffy had to convince him a lot, but his efforts eventually paid off. Since becoming a member of the Straw Hat Pirates, Zoro has been nothing but helpful to his crew, largely due to his incredible strength. In fact, Zoro was known throughout East Blue as a pirate hunter.

Zoro vs Mihawk is the most anticipated battle in One Piece. Oda has already decided when and where it will be held.

Every time I pass by one piece In the arc, Zoro became stronger both physically and mentally, which allowed him to take down some high-profile opponents, with King becoming his final victim. Considering his victories, it's hard to believe that Zoro is still able to improve and conquer his greatest enemy, Dracula Mihawk.

No one in their right mind could have believed that they would meet Mihawk, the Shichibukai Dracula, who holds the title of the world's strongest swordsman. When Zoro saw Mihawk, he immediately recognized him and decided to fight him. In the end, he promised Kuina that his name would reach heaven. Zoro knew that Mihawk was different from his previous opponents and gave his all from the beginning.

Even though Zoro attacked with all his might, he was unable to graze Mihawk. Mihawk taunted the young swordsman several times during the fight, which only added to Zoro's frustration. Zoro didn't do any damage to Mihawk, but he left a deep impression on his opponent. Before delivering the final blow to Zoro's torso, Mihawk urged Zoro to become stronger and find him.

No matter how many times fans watch that fight, it's clear that Zoro was humiliated by Mihawk. The latter used it as an opportunity to show how superior he was to his opponent. After being defeated so badly, Zoro knew he had to become stronger, which is why he put so much time and effort into his goal.

Since Zoro was beaten by Mihawk, it didn't occur to fans that the latter would become Straw Hat's teacher. But that's exactly what happened after Zoro was sent to Kuraigana Island by Bartholomew Kuma. Initially, Zoro planned to leave immediately to regroup with Luffy, but after seeing the captain's tattoo, he decided to stay and train. So he begged Mihawk to take him under his wing. Although the request was strange, it showed how loyal Zoro was to Luffy. Otherwise he would never give in to his biggest rival.

Mihawk was taken aback by Zoro's request, but decided to train him anyway. The Straw Hats stayed on the island for two years, learning how to use weapons and observation hockey. Zoro has also developed new techniques to help him fight his enemies. Two years later, he left the Straw Hat Pirates and regrouped, and has continued to fight against powerful enemies ever since.

Zoro's next power-up will be a big deal

The current One Piece manga focuses on the Elbaf arc, where the Straw Hats must face off against Imu and two other paladins. All three possessed overwhelming abilities and were able to dominate the giants. At some point, it seemed like Imu and the Holy Knights would easily achieve their goal of stealing children and using them as weapons. But the return of Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and Loki changed things. Especially after Gaban revealed that Conqueror's Haki can prevent Paladins from regenerating.

Zoro was confirmed to be a user of the Conqueror's Haki in Wano, and used it to defeat King. Later, Zoro defeated Lucci in the Egghead arc with the Conqueror's Haki-imbued attack. While his victory is certainly impressive, it's worth mentioning that he still had to put in a lot of effort as he still doesn't have the Conqueror's hockey at his disposal. But for a hero to dominate his opponent, things have to change. Zoro must learn how to use Advanced Conqueror's Haki without relying on Enma. This will not only allow Zoro to bypass the Paladin's regeneration, but will also make his overall attacks stronger.

Zoro will fight Mihawk again before One Piece ends

Roronoa Zoro and the rest of the Straw Hats will be closer to Laugh Tale once they leave Elbaf. But before they reach the island, they will have to face other threats, one of which is likely the Cross Guild. Buggy expressed his desire to obtain the One Piece, and his eager minions were more than happy to help him achieve his goal.

The Straw Hat Pirates and the Cross Guild have the same desires, so there is no doubt that the two will meet in the near future. If that happens, Zoro will fight Mihawk again. Needless to say, the fight between them will go down in the history books. When Zoro finally defeats Mihawk, he will become the most powerful swordsman in the world.

But Zorro's adventure doesn't end here. Ultimately, the crew must reach Laugh Tale at all costs. Even if the Cross Guild is destroyed, those who pose a threat to them still exist. Apparently the World Government will try to stop them by sending the Marines. If so, it is highly likely that Zoro will fight Fujitora, a famous swordsman. Zoro and Fujitora had already encountered each other in Dressrosa, and it was the Admiral who took the lead. But the next meeting will produce different results.

Another fight fans can look forward to is Zorro vs. Jesus Burgess. The latter is the Titanic captain of the Blackbeard Pirates. It is common for Zoro to take command of an opposing crew and fight first. So it's very likely that Zoro will face Jesus Burgess in one of the later issues. Jesus Burgess has proven to be an elite combatant, possessing the Devil Fruit Rikirikinomi, which greatly enhances his physical strength. So he will be a big threat to Zoro. In either case, One Piece fans can expect Zoro's next few fights to be his best to date.
