A Dragon Ball fan has recompiled Raging Blast 2, one of the most underrated games in the franchise, and made it playable on PC alongside Budokai 1 HD.
I'd argue that Dragon Ball games have never been better thanks to Sparking Zero, Xenoverse 2, and FighterZ, but there are a few classics that make that difficult. Of course the original Budokai games and Budokai Tenkaichi are at the top of the list, but there are plenty of other great Dragon Ball games from previous generations as well.
One game that I don't think gets enough love is Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2. The game is the second installment in the series, built to continue the legacy of Budokai Tenkaichi but with the addition of several new mechanics. For some reason, Dragon Ball fans never really I used Raging Blast like BT, but now that someone is working on making it playable on PC, I hope that changes.
Raging Blast 2 is being recompiled on PC. Be sure to try it out once it's completed.
Now we know that Budokai Tenkaichi is not dead. Worth a visit again.
WistfulHopes randomly shared on Twitter that they have started work on recompiling Raging Blast 2 for PC. This basically means porting. There are plenty of backwards compatible titles on Xbox, but there are also tons of licensed games like Raging Blast that never get the same treatment, so recompiling is a godsend.
WistfulHopes announced a recompilation of Raging Blast 2 two days ago, but a day later shared that the game was already playable on PC, showing off a quick fight between Goku and Vegeta. That said, WistfulHopes points out that the recompilation is in a “ridiculously primitive state” and has no enhancements at the moment, making it more of an emulation.
As if Raging Blast 2 wasn't enough, WistfulHopes also shared a post saying that they've started recompiling the HD release of the first Budokai game, another Xbox 360 classic that didn't get a native port. It also seems like it's still pretty early days, but it's still nice to see a lot of respect for preserving Dragon Ball's gaming history.

With the Bluepoint games ending, I've officially lost all faith in PlayStation.
Bluepoint Games was shut down by Sony after acquiring the studio a few years ago.
