As Embark promised to support ARC Raiders Over the next decade, live service titles will see a lot of changes in the coming months and years, and one of the big improvements that many players would like to see is an overhaul of Speranza.
ARC Raiders Without a doubt, Embark has achieved its greatest success to date. According to recent data, the extraction shooter has sold 14 million units to date, averaging about 6 million active players per week across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. However, it was not without problems. Just this week, ARC Raiders The development team was challenged by two serious exploits that required quick action. ARC Raiders CEO says Speranza is “underutilized.”
Embark is working around the clock to fix bugs, remove endless exploits, and implement quality of life improvements, but fans are eager to see more content added to the game. One feature that fans have been requesting for months is the addition of a social hub to Speranza. In a new interview with IGN, Embark's CEO admitted that the game lobby (known as Speranza) is “very underutilized.” When asked about the PvE aspect ARC Raiders“I was personally touched by all the social elements,” Söderlund said, explaining how the studio sees which aspects it should “double down on.” [ARC Raiders].”
“Personally, I think Speranza is very underutilized, and I think that’s probably something we’d like to improve on and make something different.”
The CEO then addressed the request for a “meeting place” at Speranza, something he thought “could be cool.” Söderlund did not fully confirm that a social hub would be added. ARC Raiders In the future, it is clear that he is fully in favor of the idea. “It’s also deepened what we think players want more of. ARC Raiders. So we look at it from different angles and perspectives and try to build content as quickly and quickly as possible, while also bringing updates and changes to the game that bring more of what's great about it,” said Söderlund.
This isn't the first time Embark Studios has acknowledged calls for a social hub. ARC Raiders. Earlier this year, design director Virgil Watkins told PCGamesN that the team had “100% discussed” adding these features to the game. The developer said it would ultimately depend on time and scope, noting how he “traded other features” for the social hub while the shooter was still in development. Watkins also believes walkable hubs should still preserve menus so players can get things done quickly without having to bounce back and forth between traders. The good news is that he said the team will “continue to discuss” the feature and that “there are definitely good expectations for this feature from the team as well.”
Unfortunately, if the social hub is added next ARC RaidersI think it will take quite a while for it to be ready. Embark Studios is currently preparing to release the new Shrouded Sky update later this month. This will be our second major content update. ARC Raiders' Roadmap to 2026. Fans can expect the free patch to add new map conditions, a new ARC threat, a new Raider Deck, updates to one of the game's existing maps, and more. Additional updates will be released in March and April, the latter of which will add new maps and new large ARC enemies.
