This post contains spoilers for Boruto.
Author by Kishimoto Masashi narutoThis manga is widely considered to be the best work to come out of Shonen Jump. Of course, this isn't an objectively correct claim, but it's undeniable that Kishimoto has created a series that can definitely be argued to be the best.
Naruto: The 32 Strongest Characters in the Series
This Naruto character is the strongest in the series.
What makes it naruto A series this impressive depends on how well it handles its characters and builds its story without compromising on quality. None of this would have happened without Kishimoto, who devoted his life to comics. He spent a long time working on the character, and it's no exaggeration to say that Naruto Uzumaki accounted for most of it. After all, he is the main character of the series.
Naruto is one of the most iconic anime protagonists.
Naruto Uzumaki is an amazing protoganist

Kishimoto and Ikemoto tarnished Naruto's legacy.

Naruto's reputation is no longer what it used to be
Naruto Uzumaki has been a fan-favorite character since the beginning, and the reason was not his powers, but rather his personality. It would be a lie to say that Naruto Uzumaki has the most touching backstory in all of anime, but no one can deny that it's enough to melt a cold heart. Despite losing his parents to the Nine-Tailed Fox, it was Naruto who became the target of the Leaf Village people. They didn't care that he was just a child. To them, he was the one responsible for the death and destruction caused by Nine Tails. Some parents even stopped their children from playing with Naruto, which was truly shameful. Overall, it was bizarre to see adults blaming a young boy to cover up the town's inability to deal with a tailed beast.
Despite being abused by them, Naruto didn't turn evil or kill anyone. Instead, he focused on becoming stronger and becoming Hokage. Even after he grew up, most villagers treated him the same. Their actions did not change until Naruto defeated the Six Paths of Pain and saved the village from complete destruction. After his victory, they started calling him a hero, but that only revealed their selfishness. They only started caring about Naruto after he saved them from death. But Naruto didn't take anything to heart and continued to progress.
Become the greatest hero in animation history
By the end of the manga, Naruto had to participate in the Fourth Great Ninja War to save the entire world from being invaded by the likes of Obito, Madara, and Kaguya. Naruto's first challenge was to stop Obito's ambitious plan to reorganize the ninja world. After acquiring Ten-Tails, his dream became possible. Obito was so overwhelmed that almost no ninja could stop him. As always, Naruto took the initiative to stop Obito without violence. He spoke to the Uchiha and led him out of the darkness. Naruto even ignored the fact that Obito was responsible for Minato and Kushina's deaths. Although some fans were upset by Naruto's actions, he has always understood and forgiven people's pain. So it was totally out of character for him.

After Obito, Naruto had to stop the immensely powerful Madara and Kaguya. The hero was lucky against Madara as Hagoromo granted him the Six Paths Chakra. However, Kaguya proved to be a very dangerous enemy. She was unlike anything Naruto or any other hero had ever fought in their lives. So they had to dig deep to survive and beat her. When Naruto successfully stopped Kaguya, he had one more battle left, which was probably the toughest battle of all, as he had to fight Sasuke Uchiha, whom he called his best friend and brother.
During the war, Sasuke decided to become Hokage and rule the people through fear. He believed the world would be a better place if everyone hated him. But Naruto couldn't let that happen. While fighting Sasuke, Naruto hesitated because he didn't want to kill his best friend. But the Uchiha didn't have that problem because he wanted to get rid of Naruto. Despite not giving his all, Naruto defeated Sasuke and made him realize his foolishness. Years after the war ended, Naruto finally got what he wanted. It was to become Hokage.
Kishimoto ruined Naruto's legacy in Boruto.
Before Boruto: Naruto Next Generations even began, Kishimoto had already begun to ignore Naruto Uzumaki. On the day Naruto was supposed to be officially declared Hokage, Kishimoto decided to add a 'fun' twist. He saw Himawari knock Naruto down so he couldn't move a muscle. Meanwhile, people's anxiety was growing due to Naruto's tardiness. Kishimoto made the situation worse by transforming Konohamaru into Naruto and having him attend the ceremony. This was the first stain on Naruto's legacy. Naruto worked hard for years because it was his dream to become Hokage, and taking that dream away was just a cruel joke.
I will carry your hatred and die with you! Because I am your friend!
Things got worse in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations as Kishimoto and Ikemoto began deploying more and more Otsutsuki Clan members. These individuals can lay waste to entire armies, so it's no wonder they don't go easy on Naruto. Momoshiki and Kinshiki were the first. For most of the battle, Otsutsuki had the advantage. Naruto had to team up with Sasuke to win, and even then Boruto had to save them.
Naruto and Sasuke were treated horribly in Boruto
Soon after, Naruto and Sasuke had to fight Jigen (Isshiki Otsutsuki's ship). For the two legendary ninjas, it was more of a humiliation than a fight. Isshiki toyed with them, but they had no idea how to win. This allowed Kishimoto to give Naruto the Baryon mode, which was definitely an amazing power-up, but it was a costly mode. To use Baryon Mode, Kurama had to die. The Nine-Tails didn't even reveal the truth to Naruto because they knew Naruto would never allow it. So Kurama dies after tricking Naruto, leaving Naruto alone. Imagine taking one of Naruto's closest friends who has been with him for decades.
If that wasn't bad enough, Kishimoto and Ikemoto decided to exclude Naruto completely by sealing him away. It's been years since Naruto was sealed, but there is absolutely no evidence that he has returned. Many die-hard Naruto fans have stopped reading the Boruto manga entirely because they can't stand their favorite character being mistreated. This affected comic sales, leading many to question whether the series would survive long enough. Let's hope Kishimoto sees sense and advises Ikemoto to change the situation and bring Naruto and Sasuke back to lead Boruto and the rest of the new generation to victory. Although his chances of a return are slim at this point, fans shouldn't give up just yet.
