How to unlock the Glittering Fish Shadow quest
The flashing fish shadow quest is Assigned by VanyaFishing Mentor. Continue completing tasks and Vanya will eventually contact you about a special tool. Mermaid Fish Attractor. This tool attracts rare fish to a focused area, allowing legendary objects to appear.
This will start the Blinking Fish Shadow quest. The purpose of this quest is Share your fish lure with others Look for the sparkling fish shadow, a shining mystery beneath the waves. Unlike regular fishing operations, this one involves more than just a cast and reel.
How to Find Flashing Fish Shadows in Heartopia
To increase your chances of finding the flashing fish shadow: Go to the fishing village and talk to Bill.Whitebeard NPC near the dock. Select the Sea Fishing event option and select your boat. Once on board, you can invite friends or random players to join.
When the event starts, throw the Mermaid Attractor into the water. Here everyone should start fishing within the attractor circle. Your goals are: Catch fish with a distinct blue glow.
Observe the water carefully. Most fish appear as dark or golden silhouettes. that Flashing Fish Shadow glows with a soft blue light. It sets you apart immediately.

The Rabbit Fish did the job for us, and some other players have also reported that catching the Rabbit Fish completes this quest. In your case it might be a different fish, Aim for fish that emit a soft blue glow..
Even if one of your team members catches a glowing fish, it will count toward your quest progress. You can expect the shadow to appear after about 5-6 captures.
Once you catch the glowing fish shadow, return to the shore and talk to Vanya to complete the mission.
