There's no need to tell me that Fortnite is the ultimate champion of IP crossover games. Everyone knows it. Even people like me who have gone their entire lives without installing games know that there are virtually no limits to the collaborative potential inherent in Epic Games' commercial behemoth.
Sometimes I yet I was surprised by the crossover announcement. Or, as in the case of this hot little rumor, an unannounced upcoming event. Players of a certain age may soon be able to return to Bear, Beets, and Battlestar Galactica. And yes, I chose that particular joke because I love Battlestar Galactica.
I'm calling HR.
Prolific Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR, as is customary, posted a video to YouTube rounding up the latest information. One thing stood out, at least to some people. It was a reference to the upcoming appearance of “a nostalgic duo from a live-action TV series.” Now obviously this isn't enough to remotely lock everything.
But Shiina, thank you for bringing this to our attention. Insider Gaming! – He went on to say it could be The Office. According to IG's article, this doesn't mean it's a given. So the leaker itself doesn't call it a warranty, so it's salt water. If that were to happen… that would be kind of wild, wouldn't it?

Already, people are theorizing who the duo is. I feel like Michael Scott and Dwight Schrute are the best fit for me. They may be the most iconic, but that's not to say The Office wasn't filled with a beloved ensemble cast. I think Jim and Pam are more of a “duo” but I don't take that word literally. To put it even more simply: two characters. It's about as good a number as I'd expect for a sitcom, and now I'm thinking about adding Frasier and Niles to the world of older, cooler NBC sitcoms. (I said what I said.)
