What are Hightail Memories?
Think of your memories as monster logs. Every time you see a creature, you gain a memory of that creature. You can find all your saved memories by opening your inventory and clicking on the diamond just below the crafting icon next to your character's 3D model. The Forgotten Temple is an area located somewhere in Orbis with various NPCs. You can get to this place by looking for a cross-shaped temple on the map. (Also indicated by the Vortex Portal icon). Enter that temple, then go underground to find a blue portal that leads to the Forgotten Temple.
When you enter the portal and reach the other side, you will be greeted by a large NPC settlement. Follow the path in the middle and you will come to an altar.. It acts as a bestiary where you can see all the creatures you discover during your adventure.
Interacting with the altar will give you the option to record the memories you have acquired. Writing down your memories moves them from you to your altar. As you move your memories to the altar, you will eventually reach milestones that offer the following rewards:
