As previously mentioned, The animation in Solo Leveling is amazing, but not as good as Trigun Stampede or its sequel.. Trigun Stargaze is the much-awaited sequel to Trigun Stampede, released in 2023. The anime is being produced by Orange, the studio behind titles like Beastars and Houseki no Kuni. Unlike the original version, Trigun Stampede did not have the classic animation style. Instead, Orange decided to opt for 3D CG animation. At first, many fans were repulsed by this style, but they eventually embraced it. The new style allows for fluid animation and incredible attention to detail. Orange is very proud of the effort it took to create a worthy adaptation closer to the Trigun comics.

Trigun Stargaze is scheduled to be released in January 2026.This means that time is running out for the legendary Vash the Stampede to return. The second season is set two and a half years after the July disappearance that shocked the world. There is currently no information about the number of episodes for the new season, but it is likely that it will have the same number as the first season.

So Trigun Stargaze will probably consist of 12 episodes. After the new season, fans will have to wait a few more years for the third and final season of Trigun. Waiting for a new season can be tiring, but it's better than nothing at all.

Typically, it doesn't take long for animation performance and solo leveling to confirm your next project. However, no update from the studio means no decision has been made. The studio is busy with other work and is therefore not equipped to begin production on the new season of Solo Leveling. Some people involved with the anime have suggested that the third installment could be released in 2028 at the latest. If the studio decides to stick with a 2028 release, fans will undoubtedly be disappointed.

A quality adaptation of Solo Leveling could take up to two years, and if the studio began work on the project after the end of Season 2, it would have to be completed by 2027. Therefore, it makes sense for the anime to be released in late 2027 or early 2028. However, it would be nice for the studio to take a little more time and give fans a longer season.

Solo Leveling Season 3 Could Be The Longest To Date

The first two seasons consisted of 12 and 13 episodes respectively. If a studio wants to make viewers wait for three years, it makes sense to release a season of 20 episodes or more. Another short season means Solo Leveling fans will have to wait until after 2030 for the anime to fully cover the web novel.

To fix this, A-1 Pictures could release a longer third season and then cover the rest of the movies. The studio will likely be eager to test this approach, especially after the success of the Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle film, which earned more than $600 million at the box office. The film broke old records while setting many new ones. The results are certainly enticing, so A-1 Pictures might seriously consider releasing the film at some point.
