With many of his well-known moves and a few variations, this boss will test your party. Be prepared for erratic strikes with a big sword and jump attack that won't leave you alone. Here's everything you need to know to defeat Knight Artorias in The Forsaken Hollows.
Where to find Knight Artorias
Artorius is Day 2 boss found only in the Dreglord Expedition. To unlock this, you must first complete The Balancers' Expedition as a random character.
Forsaken Hollows have more powerful bosses, such as The Lord of Blood, at the end of the second day. But be careful when dealing with Artorias. It's a tricky boss to fight head on. I recommend level 10 or higher when you encounter him, and it's good to have the option to attack from mid or long range.

How to defeat Knight Artorias
first step
Artorias can start combat as follows: Straight thrust attack. He will take quite a few steps forward, so don't dodge back. Then he can perform. Long-distance continuous strike attack It's easy to avoid if you're slow and roll in either direction at the right moment.
Since Artorias can cover short distances quickly, it becomes more difficult each time he advances before attacking. He can be seen holding a sword for a few seconds before charging. If you're the one being chased, just focus on dodging while the rest of the party hits him from behind or throws projectiles at him.
What is important to note is when Artorias is holding a weapon and Tilt your head back for a moment: He will perform 360° attackCovers all bases. You need to stay away from him. This is a great opportunity to throw a projectile or long-range attack.
Artorias can run away after attacking, so be careful if you want to attack quickly. It is best to heal yourself during this period (if possible).
His iconic jump attack move is back, and he can jump and hit the ground with his sword three times in a row. However, there is a pause between each jump, so you have time to recover from the roll, stand still for a moment, and then roll again. This attack is focused on one player, but it's difficult to hit Artorias if you only have melee options.
second step
When the life bar is depleted by about 40%Artorias begins charging energy until it creates a small explosion — Don't stay next to that person in the meantime.. He will also be summoned. A series of black projectiles moving at once. However, you can track multiple players. The best way to avoid this is to simply run to the side.
He can repeat this later in the fight. He will stand still and charge his energy for a few seconds before doing so.
Now Artorias It runs faster and for longer periods of time.Covers more terrain. His sword strikes are nearly identical, repeating a thrust attack, lunge, and jump attack, but performed faster and more frequently.
He also gains two new moves. In addition to the normal triple jump attack, He can charge for a few seconds. (You can see the energy flowing from him) before jumping. Hitting the ground onceTarget one character. Be sure to roll when coming down. In addition to slam attacks, He can also catch characters. Artorias then performs an explosion and throws away the captured characters.
Finally, the second action is A series of five strikes with irregular timing.. You'll know this is coming because his sword will start leaving a purple/pink trail. You must dodge the first attack, wait two seconds, dodge two consecutive attacks, pause briefly before the fourth attack, and then pause for a longer period before the last attack with long reach.
Artorias can interrupt this combo by killing a character. It's also best to attack from a distance if possible. Stay away from him during the series of blows.
