According to the latest report, A new Hunter x Hunter game is in the works. The game is called Hunter x Hunter Nen x Survivor and Bushiroad Games is publishing this game. Fans interested in the game will be very happy to know this. Hunter × Hunter Nen × Survivor is scheduled to be released on February 17, 2026.

Hunter x Hunter comics may return in 2026

Yoshihiro Togashi shared a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account, confirming that chapter 411 of the manuscript was completed. Unfortunately, Togashi has not shared any updates regarding the return of the Hunter x Hunter manga. However, it is likely that Hunter x Hunter will return with at least two chapters in 2026.
Hunter x Hunter needs new animations
Hunter x Hunter fans felt frustrated by the lack of proper content. There have been no new chapters since December 2014, and no new anime projects have been announced. Fans know that Togashi's physical health is poor and he is unable to work like he used to. But they want to know why the anime wasn't released.
There are about 70 chapters not covered in the 2011 anime, so theoretically there is enough content for the studio to produce at least two short seasons. However, if an animation gets too close to the comics, those involved may be deterred from pursuing the project.
