During this time, House Targaryen was at the height of its power with many powerful dragon riders. Fans have already seen many riders and dragons fight together in the series, showing off their solidarity. But only a few stand out at the very top.
Bala-Moondancer
Baela is the daughter of Prince Daemon Targaryen and Laena Velaryon.. She met Moondancer at a very young age, and the two have a great connection. They form a fantastic duo and can obliterate the majority of riders in battle.
Baela is incredibly powerful alongside Moondancer.. In fact, fans have already seen what she's capable of, and she'll most certainly fight in more incredible battles later that will highlight her powers as an incredible Dragonrider and her bond with Moondancer.
Aegon II – Sunfyre
Aegon II TargaryenThe usurper of Rhaenyra Targaryen may not be the strongest, but he forms quite a powerful duo with his dragon, Sunfyre. Fans know that Sunfyre is the most majestic dragon in Game of Thrones history.
Although not the biggest or strongest, Sunfyre is still powerful, and with Aegon, Sunfyre is nearly unstoppable.. Their connection is truly special, and this is what makes them a very interesting duo in battle.
Rhaenyra-Sirax
Rhaenyra Targaryen bonded with Syrax long ago.And it's no exaggeration to say that she's one of the most special dragonriders fans have ever seen in the story.
in fact, Rhaenyra was the first dragonrider fans saw. House of the DragonSyrax is the first dragon to appear in the series. Rhaenyra and Syrax form a special bond.And it appears as if they are telepathically connected. The two feel pain together and become one in the face of any threat.
Rhaenys-Melis
Of all the dragons fans have seen in House of the Dragon, The Meleys remain the fastest of them all.. She is also quite old and is a fierce dragon in battle. Meleys was ridden by Rhaenys Targaryen.Fans know these two are very special.
Together, they can take down even the fiercest of foes, but fans should keep in mind that none of them are the strongest in the series, individually or as a duo.
Aemond-Vagar
Aemond Targaryen and Vhagar form a powerful duo. It is one of the most powerful in Westeros. It is true that Vhagar is the most powerful dragon in Westeros at this point, as he is a hardened survivor of many battles and the largest dragon currently alive. Vhagar can swallow a dragon whole and burn a city to the ground in minutes. It's a truly terrifying dragon and is certainly the most powerful force in all of Westeros at the moment.
However, the bond between Aemond and Vhagar is not as strong, and the better dragon-rider bond fans have seen in the series. Despite this, Aemond can take out just about anyone and is nearly impossible to lose in battle. The best anyone can do against them is to team up with others to defeat them or tie the fight in some way. Otherwise, both Aemond and Vhagar are invincible.
Demon Caraxes
Daemon Targaryen and Caraxes are a powerful duo and certainly one of the most dangerous beings in Westeros.. Caraxes is not the largest or strongest dragon in Westeros. But it's definitely the most intense. The Bloodwyrm is ridden by a daemon Targaryen who mirrors his own personality, and the two share a bond that transcends understanding.
Caraxes may not be the most powerful on his own, but together with his Daemon, he is a force to be reckoned with, and even Vhagar and Aemond have consistently been unable to beat them despite having a strength advantage in battle. Clearly, Daemon and Caraxes are the most dangerous Dragonrider-Dragon duo fans have seen in the entire House of the Dragon so far. Of course, as the series continues, fans will see more of the powerful duo, and they may just add to it.
