Spoilers for Pokémon Legends: ZA and Mega Dimension DLC.
Pokemon Legends: ZAThe Mega Dimension DLC has been out for less than a week, and it's already shaking up the game in a meaningful way with 19 new Mega Evolutions and tons of moves returning to TM. You can get all new moves from NPCs. Pokemon Legends: ZA Anyone who trades TMs for Mega Shards can find them very useful for the base game's Pokedex and Hyperspace Lumiose's Pokedex. For example, a medium Pokemon like Leafeon gets a big buff with Solar Blade, while a powerful Pokemon like Skarmory gets Magnet Bomb. In addition to new moves and megas, the DLC adds a new trainer battle that's officially the most difficult in the series. Much harder than the iconic trainer from almost 20 years ago.
As far as the anime is concerned, Ash is arguably the most powerful Pokémon trainer and has become a Pokémon Master in large-scale tournaments with the likes of Leon, Diantha, Cynthia, and other powerful trainers. But before Pokemon Legends: ZAThe video game series has always had one trainer elected by fans to be the most powerful, and that is the original version of Cynthia, the champion of the Pokémon League. Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. There have been several challengers to past years or past title holders, they are:
- whitney (Pokemon Gold, Silver, Crystal): Whitney's Miltank is one of the most difficult Pokémon for inexperienced players to beat in the series, and it has likely caused some real damage to you in the past as well. This isn't the hardest fight in the series, but it is quite difficult for its intended level.
- red (Pokemon Gold, Silver, Crystal): Legendary Pokémon trainer Red fought atop Mt Silver and used a team of high-level animals, including three Kanto starters: Pikachu, Snorlax, and Espeon. Despite their high-caliber team, Red isn't that difficult to beat. This is because the game favors certain strategies and trumps others.
- Bolo (Pokemon Legends: Arceus): but PLAVolo is technically harder to beat than Cynthia. Thanks to his powerful team of six high-level Pokémon, he is a lone trainer. Yes, he packs a punch and makes things extremely difficult with Giratina, the seventh Pokémon on his team that has a second form after being defeated, but Cynthia's was his last battle after the Elite Four.
now, Pokemon Legends: ZA's DLC adds arguably the most difficult battle in the form of Taunie/Urbain, which has six level 100 Pokémon, four Pokémon capable of Mega Evolution, and other Pokémon with powerful settings and items. This battle also requires you to beat the game outright to unlock, giving further credence to the fact that this will be the ultimate challenge.
It's time to welcome the most difficult trainer in a Pokemon game
Pokemon Legends: ZA's DLC Taunie and Urbain Battle How to Beat Cynthia
while Pokemon Legends: ZA's story isn't the hardest to beat in the series, but there are some difficult battles you'll need to overcome to beat the game outright. The battle with Taunie or Urbain towards the end of the story can be difficult. The boss battle with Ange takes time and effort. And after round 15 of Infinite ZA Royale, fighting Taunie or Urbain is easy only on fully maxed teams.
However, the Mega Dimension DLC gives Taunie/Urbain another difficult fight, and looking at the team, it's easily the most difficult fight in the series. It consists of:
-
Mega Music (Lv. 100) – Item: Meow Stone
-
Moves: Light Screen, Reflect, Psychic, Wish
-
-
Goodra (Lv. 100) – Item: Assault vest
-
Moves: Surfing, Acid Spray, Draco Meteor, Blizzard
-
-
Abalugh (Lv. 100) – Item: Leftover Food
-
Moves: Icicle Crash, Icicle Spear, Stone Edge, Protect
-
-
Mega Man Creek (Lv. 100) – Item: Manectite
-
Actions: Roar, Thunder, Overheat, Protect
-
-
Mega Meganium (Lv. 100) – Item: Meganium Light
-
Moves: Frenzy Plant, Earth Power, Dazzling Gleam, Giga Drain
-
-
Mega Feraligatr (Lv. 100) – Item: Ferrarigite
-
Movements: Rage, Clearing, Sword Dance, Earthquake
-
-
mega embore (Lv. 100) – Item: Embolite
-
Moves: Flare Blitz, Stone Edge, Close Combat, Bulk Up
-
The list includes all three Mega Evolutions. Pokemon Legends: ZA's starters, Taunie/Urbain, will only use two of them, depending on which starter you choose. A very effective Pokémon for your starter will be the last Pokémon you use in battle.
You must complete all side missions from 1 to 199 to unlock the battle against Taunie/Urbain's strongest team. This will give you access to “Here in Lumiose City” and help you with a few tasks. Taunie/Urbain is the only trainer in the series to have a full team of level 100 Pokémon.
Description of Cynthia's team in Pokemon Generation 4
In comparison, Cynthia's team Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Although it is much weaker, it is surprisingly optimized and powerful for its level. These include:
- Spirit Rom – Level. 61
- roserade – Level. 60
- gastrodon – Level. 60
- Lucario – Level. 63
- Milotic – Level. 63
- Gartsov – Level. 66
It's worth noting that Spirit Tom had no weaknesses since there were no Fairy-type Pokémon in Generation 4.
Pokémon Legends: ZA's Second Hardest DLC Battle Isn't As Bad As It Looks
A full team of six level 100 Pokémon is already a huge feat, but since Taunie/Urbain will Mega Evolve four Pokémon in one battle, it becomes the most difficult battle in the series. The only other trainer in the series is Korrina, who becomes a potential challenger in Infinite ZA Royale after capturing Rayquaza. Pokemon Legends: ZA.
Korrina uses 6 Pokemon, but they are not at max level and range from level 95 to 100. These are:
-
Mega Galad (Lv.95) – Item: Galadite
-
Moves: Sacred Sword, Close Combat, Bulk Up, Psycho Cut
-
-
Mega crab mining possible (Lv. 95) – Item: Krabominite
-
Moves: Ice Hammer, Iron Defense, Dynamic Punch, Mach Punch
-
-
Mega Medicam (Lv. 97) – Item: Medicamite
-
Moves: Zen headbutt, dynamic punch, ice punch, recovery
-
-
Mega Hawlucha (Lv. 99) – Item: Hauluka Knight
-
Movements: Flying Press, Sword Dance, Feather Dance, Brave Bird
-
-
Mega Chess Note (Lv.99) – Item: Chessnotite
-
Moves: Spike Shield, Close Combat, Wood Hammer, Stone Edge
-
-
Mega Lucario Z (Lv. 100) – Item: Lucarionite Z
-
Movements: Focus Blast, Hyper Beam, Detect, Flash Cannon
-
Technically, this fight may be much more difficult than the Taunie/Urbain fight, but it comes with two major caveats.
-
Corinna's Pokémon are not level 100 except for Lucario Z, and after that Pokemon Legends: ZA's Hyperspace Lumiose realm requires level 100 Pokémon to handle the DLC content efficiently, and players will inevitably have a full team of level 100 animals.
-
Korrina specializes in Fighting-type Pokémon. That said, a mix of Psychic, Flying, and Fairy Animals will give you an easy win.
So Korrina's new battle is still difficult, but if you take these factors into account, it's probably not as difficult as Cynthia. However, the new Taunie/Urbain battle may take a few tries to get it right.
