Pokemon Legends: ZAThe Mega Dimension DLC brings back a total of 9 Legendary Pokémon and 11 Mythical Pokémon, and you can actually catch them all right away. Pokemon Legends: ZA The base game Pokedex had 230 Pokémon, including all animals from the Kalos region and many other pocket monsters. However, there was only one Gen 7 and Gen 8 Pokemon each in the form of Drampa and Falinks, and no Gen 9 animals existed.
The post-launch period featured events for Diancie and Mewtwo. Pokemon Legends: ZAThe total number of animals in the game has increased to 232. Now the Mega Dimension DLC adds another 132 Pokémon and several regional forms to the mix, including several legendary and mythical Pokémon for players to collect. Some of them are part of the story, while others are only available post-game and require special steps to obtain. But fans are discovering that they can see them all right now, no event required.
New Pokemon Legendaries: ZA Code Gives Players Free Items
Pokemon Legends: ZA players can now request several new items via Mystery Gifts, all of which could come in handy once the Mega Dimension DLC releases.
Here's how to get every Legendary and Mythical Pokemon in Pokemon Legends: ZA's Mega Dimension DLC (and Shiny Too).
Pokemon returned from Pokemon Legends: ZAThe DLC includes various legends and myths. The following list contains all returning Legendary and Mythical Pokémon and how to obtain them.

- heat run: Progress through the Mega Dimension DLC story and craft 3- or 4-star donuts to access Hyperspace Lumiose. Then fight and catch Megahitran.
- Groudon: Progress through the Mega Dimension DLC story and create the Omega Old-Fashioned Donut to unlock the battle against Primal Groudon.
- Kyogre: Progress through the Mega Dimension DLC story and create the Alpha Old-Fashioned Donut to unlock the battle against Primal Kyogre.
- Rayquaza: Progress through the Mega Dimension DLC story and create the Delta Old-Fashioned Donut to unlock the battle against Mega Rayquaza.
- Latias: Through special scanning.
- Latios: Through special scanning.
- Viridion: Through special scanning.
- Terrakion: Through special scanning.
- cobalion: Through special scanning.

- Darkrai: Progress through the Mega Dimension DLC story and craft the Bad Dreams Cruller Donut to unlock the battle against Mega Darkrai.
- Genesect: Get Side Mission 191: Collect 4 drives from the suspicious man selling new TMs. Pokemon Legends: ZAYou will need to buy 4 drives from him for Mega Shards. Drive, Sleep, Shock, Burn, and Chill cost 540 mega fragments each. Afterwards, follow the quest's instructions to find Genesect, battle it out, and capture it.
- Ma Shadow: Jaune After picking up side mission 192: The Stealthy Shadow from Gardie located in Sector 11, head to the Battle Courtyard near Wild Zone 20 late in the day. When the tower's shadow reaches the center of the courtyard, a Poké Ball, Marshadow, appears and can be battled to catch it. It is worth noting that the tower's shadow reaches the courtyard at dusk, provided the weather is clear. Because otherwise the tower wouldn't cast a shadow.
- Meltan and Melmetal: In Rouge Sector 1, receive Side Mission 193: Meltan's Dream and fight to catch Meltan. A hyperspace area will appear, and you will need a donut to access it. Once inside, follow the quest steps to get Melmetal.
- volcano: Obtain side mission 194: Volcanion Unleashed in Mabel's lab and follow the steps of the mission. This will cause Volcanion to spawn for you to battle and capture.
- Magiana: Get Side Mission 195: Restart Magearna from Jett in Quasartico. Collect 999 Mega Shards and talk to Jett again to receive both Magearna and Mega Magearna's Mega Stone.
- Hoopa: Get side mission 196: The Djinn Unbound from Taunie/Urbain in Hotel Z. Follow the stage quests to enter Hyperspace Lumiose with a 4- or 5-star donut, then battle and defeat Hoopa Unbound to unlock Pokémon.
- come on: After purchasing Canary Bread from Terragon in Racine Construction, find the child on the rooftop of Vert Sector 3. Exchange the Canary Bread for Popping Candy, then head to Hotel Z and talk to Ansha. You need to bake a Plazma-Glazed Donut for Zeraora. Emma will then call and give you the side mission EX3: Raging Lightning. Defeat and capture Mega Zeraora according to the quest steps.
- Keldeo: Through special scanning.
- Meloetta: Through special scanning.
Special scans required to obtain some legendary and mythical Pokémon are only available after beating the DLC's story. At this point, you'll be given more survey tasks to complete, and once you've earned over 25,000 points, you can return to Corbeau and Philippe. Here Philippe will give you the option to start a special scan. This will open a new portal for: Pokemon Legends: ZAHyperspace Lumios.
These portals may contain one of the exclusive Legendary or Mythical Pokémon, but they are random and occur rarely. This means that finding both Legendary and Mythical Pokémon will take some time. Legendary: Z-A. However, it is possible right now without time gate content.
