It hasn't even been a day Pokemon Legends: ZA's Mega Dimension DLC is out, and the animals found in Hyperspace Lumiose are very powerful and so are their trainers, presenting quite a challenge for those who were expecting it to be a walk in the park. One of the most important parts of completing the DLC and getting everything is making good enough donuts. Because this determines how many levels your Pokémon can get in Hyperspace Lumiose, how easy it is to catch the Pokémon there, and more importantly, how much time you have. When looking for something shiny, time is of the essence. Pokemon Legends: ZAAnd now it's more important than ever after a new patch took away the best hunting method in the game.
If your first guess was a bench, rest safely in your sparkling hunting grounds. Pokemon Legends: ZA Using a bench is still possible and still good. However, what is no longer possible is the so-called “overload method”. This method allows you to bring multiple Pokémon away from a given spawn point, spawning other Pokémon in their place, and doing this multiple times to increase the number of animals in a given area. This method was most common in Wild Zone 20. You'll miss it a lot, but don't worry. A new way to hunt for shine is here.

ZA's Overload Shiny Hunting Method Is Officially Over in Pokémon Legends: Wild Zone 20
Pokemon Legends: ZA's 2.0 update not only adds all of the new content from the Mega Dimension DLC, but also changes the game's core features. One thing you need to know ASAP is that the Overload Shiny hunting method is now officially gone.
You've probably seen it or seen it used in some shape or form, especially since it was first discovered in Wild Zone 20 as a way to have six alpha Pokemon spawn under a tower instead of the usual two. This is terrible news for shiny hunters who love alpha Pokemon, as nearly 70 different species spawn under the Wild Zone 20 tower, meaning you'll find most of the animals in the game as alpha.
It's worth noting that if the game still has overloaded spawn points, these points will remain intact unless multiple Alphara in Pokémon Legends: ZA's Wild Zone 20 captures or defeats them.

How to Shiny Hunt in Pokemon Legends: ZA's Mega Dimension DLC – Fast Travel
The fast travel method is very simple and is already available in the base game. If there is a fly access point on the map of the hyperspace Lumiose region you are in, fly there and reset all Pokémon within a 50 meter radius of the spawn point. This is best if you have multiple animals near the map entrance. This means you can spam fast moves and eventually find a shiny Pokémon.
While fast traveling, time spent on loading screens does not count toward time spent in specific hyperspace areas.
How to Shiny Hunt in Pokemon Legends: ZA's Mega Dimension DLC – Soft Reset
This method is only applicable when the time span is longer than 3 minutes in a specific hyperspace region. This is because you have to find a group of Pokémon you want to hunt, defeat them, and then wait about 2-3 minutes for the Pokémon to respawn. You should save approximately every 10 to 15 seconds until the Pokémon respawns, and be careful not to save exactly at or after the Pokémon respawns. If your Pokemon isn't shiny, close the game, restart it, rinse and repeat until you find a shiny one. Ideally, you should be able to stay in the area for at least 4 minutes to get the most out of this method.
How to Shiny Hunt in Pokemon Legends: ZA's Mega Dimension DLC – Teleportation.
For the teleportation method to be possible in Hyperspace Lumios, you need to go far ahead (or further) and find an area with a ground “elevator” that you can use repeatedly. For example, you won't find them in sewers, but they will spawn in real cityscapes. If you discover a Pokémon and the distance between the two ground teleporters is large enough, a new Pokémon will spawn within 50 meters of your destination, and any Pokémon farther than 70 meters away will disappear. Spamming the A button on your Nintendo Switch 2 or regular Switch will solve the problem and can be done using the Turbo Controller.
Teleportation animations do not consume any time/calories. This means that the clock only ticks when you wander around to see what Pokemon are there.
How to Shiny Hunt in Pokemon Legends: ZA's Mega Dimension DLC – Creation and Destruction.
For those who prefer to scout the area for shiny Pokémon, a good option is to simply save your game when entering the new Hyperspace Lumiose area and then wander around looking for shiny Pokémon. in Pokemon Legends: ZAWild Pokémon appear within 50m and disappear when they are farther than 70m away. This means you can explore the entire area, and if Shiny doesn't show up, you can close the game, restart, and repeat the process.
How to Shiny Hunt in Pokemon Legends: ZA's Mega Dimension DLC – Sparkling Power
Although it is unclear at this stage exactly what is causing this. Pokemon Legends: ZAAs suggested by popular content creator Austin John Plays, Hoopa's donuts are super sweet and you can get add-ons for your donuts if they hit a certain calorie threshold. But when that happens, the effect is basically this: Pokemon Scarlet and VioletUsing a Shiny Sandwich increases the chance of certain types of Pokémon becoming shiny. Since the hyperspace realm already tells you what type of Pokémon it will contain, using Sparkling Power Donuts of the same type is very effective and gives you a lot of power over what animals you will hunt.
How to Hunt Shiny in Pokemon Legends: ZA's Mega Dimension DLC – Catching Shiny Tasks
As a rare investigative task in Hyperspace Lumios, you can find something that says “Catch a Shiny Pokémon 0/1”, meaning that the Shiny was forced into existence at that moment, all you have to do is look for it. This ensures that it sparkles among the species available in the area. Pokemon Legends: ZAIt's a shining Marif.
