Spoilers ahead for Astra Malorum's main quest.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 It's only been out for a few weeks, but we've already received our first proper post-launch guidance. In addition to the Diner Survival map (and the Cosmodrome that will be released mid-season), gamers will be able to battle the undead on a breathable skull-shaped asteroid. And while this gorgeous map is on the small side, especially compared to the massive Ashed of the Damned, Astra Malorum hides an epic secret within its main quest. It's similar to how the player traveled between Earth and outer space. BO1 Zombie Map Moon allows you to leave Astra Malorum and visit a part of Mars with new experiences.
This isn't the only interesting quest-related content on the map, as there is an Easter egg that allows players to trigger special music. But this is separate from the main hidden song, Easter Egg. This is because players will not be able to hear the new Avenged Sevenfold tracks if they complete the Gramophone quest. Instead, find a record around the map, insert it into your existing music player, and then black ops 4This is the Alpha Omega map. This adds weight to the idea that this map will be remade in future seasons. black ops 7But considering its good reputation, daegu With insider @TheGhostOfHope leaking the return of Alpha Omega, players were already convinced this remake was coming. Therefore, it is more interesting to theorize about Mars' position in Astra. Because it will be the perfect survival arena.
Whenever Alpha Omega returns black ops 7Players will also have access to the classic Nuketown Zombies map as a survival experience, and potentially as seasonal content for certain drops.
The Martian region of Astra Malorum may be much more than that.
It's certainly true that the Mars portion of the Astra Malorum main quest could remain exclusive to Easter Eggs, but not making it a standalone experience would feel like a missed opportunity. Treyarch will likely run out of Ashes Survival maps sooner rather than later, as only the Blackwater, Ashwood, and Janus Towers maps will be missing from the game once Season 1 is completed. Even if Treyarch moves to one survival map per season going forward, they still have several seasons left to fill, so adding Mars seems like a no-brainer.
Going to Mars during the Astra Malorum main quest was jaw-dropping. daegu Since there is a Zombies fan base, the location naturally takes on additional meaning for many fans of the mod. Aside from that, Mars Arena is great for survival maps. Yes, it was small, but it was. black ops 2This is the bus stop area. There's plenty of room for a Wunderfizz machine and a Pack-a-Punch, as well as space for a few players to train their undead (or find a corner to camp), and smaller maps like Nacht Der Untoten or Groesten Haus. World War II There's a certain charm to them. Add in the fact that Treyarch took the time to create special models for the Mars region's zombies and Shangri-La-like temples, and it's a shame to see Mars limited to quests that casual players will never experience.
With two Survival maps per season becoming the norm, the earliest a Mars map could be produced would be in the second half of Season 3.
Alpha Omega's comeback will live or die by one thing:
As for the second coming of Alpha Omega, which Treyarch has officially mentioned, it's impossible to ignore the community's initial reaction to the news that it would be returning. Almost immediately, the community collectively asked the question, “Why?” as Treyarch decided to once again opt for a divisive policy. BO4 Explore beloved classics like Shadows of Evil, IX, and Der Eisendrache on a map. Perhaps there's a narrative reason to return to the Broken Arrow facility. But considering how popular Alpha Omega became, the community's concerns are understandable. But perhaps there is more to this strange inclusion than meets the eye.
A simple remaster would be a real head-scratcher, but perhaps Treyarch will instead produce an Alpha Omega sequel that isn't a simple copy. Much like Ashes of the Damned's sequel to TranZit, reusing ideas from a cult classic can make for a truly good map, and an entirely new map that borrows some elements from Alpha Omega can be more fun than the original. Maybe they'll just bring back Rushmore and Avogadro, perhaps with a completely new underground facility or a remodel of the ground floor with the buildings and map boundaries changed. If Treyarch took advantage of the Dark Aether to completely reimagine Alpha Omega mechanically and aesthetically, it would be a much easier sell. Still, some players are getting tired of all the versions of Nuketown, so hopefully more unique locations will continue to be added, like a potential Mars Survival map.
