Arc Raiders Hidden Bunker event has been removed due to cheaters.

The Arc Raiders have done quite well against the potential cheaters that are rampant in the game, but they still exist. It's nearly impossible to stop cheaters in primarily online games, and we've already seen popular titles like Battlefield 6 and Pokemon Legends: ZA struggle to stop cheating.

For the most part, the Arc Raiders have managed to be quite successful, brutally burning imposters with flamethrowers, but recently, due to a very critical vulnerability discovered by players, imposters are starting to show up in droves. If you're a dedicated player of the game, you might be aware of this attack, which is associated with the Hidden Bunker event that occurs on the Spaceport map at certain times of the day.

To enter the hidden bunker, players must activate four antennas scattered in random locations throughout the map. When activated, the entrance to the hidden bunker opens and players must race inside to grab as much loot as possible and download as much data as possible while fending off dangerous machines and other players.

Arc Raiders Hidden Bunker event has been removed due to cheaters.

ARC Raiders Outside a hidden bunker at night.

If you want to try this the next time you play Arc Raiders, you're out of luck at the moment. That's because scammers have discovered a very nasty exploit that uses hidden bunkers to somehow get through walls and teleport inside the bunker itself. Even when it's locked. For someone who knows how to use the exploit, this is a huge advantage, and some players claim to have opened a hidden bunker and discovered that everything inside had already been looted.

While the raiders begin dropping supplies, other raiders keep watch on the Arc Raiders.

With the Arc Raiders' Expedition project coming soon, players are still unsure whether they should choose to delete progress.

Is it a good idea to erase my Arc Raiders progress?

Naturally, developer Embark Studios doesn't want cheaters to gain an advantage over the competition. To address this issue, Embark has taken the Hidden Bunker event out of circulation, as announced by the developer on the game's official Discord (thanks Vice). In the announcement, Embark explains that it has been temporarily removed while a fix is in progress.

Now the bad news is that Embark is not providing players with a potential ETA for the fix. That means we may have to wait a while to see Hidden Bunker return. There's also no indication of what form this fix will take, but I imagine it'll be quite difficult to fill the Hidden Bunker with flamethrowers this time around. Hopefully it won't take too long and your event will be better than ever.
