This week's test of Arc Raiders isn't for everyone, including me.

Closed in one month ARC Raiders', but I'm still completely addicted to the extraction gameplay loop. One of the things that gets me back on track ARC Raiders are weekly trials that you can complete to rank up and earn seasonal rewards. However, I'm having a hard time finishing the trial this week, the first time I've struggled this much since launch.

For many, the honeymoon period may be over ARC Raiders This may be one of the reasons why completing exams this week feels so slow. I think there's more to this issue than a drop in post-launch hype, and it comes down to a few other factors. When I think about how much of the community is mourning the trail this week, it's clear that I am no exception to this struggle.

I'm struggling with the ARC Raiders' trials this week and I know I'm not alone.

  • Damage Rocketeer

  • Download data from hidden bunker

  • First Wave Shell Search

  • Damage Snitch

  • Deals damage to ARC enemies on the ground.

trial ARC Raiders The challenges players need to complete this week are all repeats of last week, and unfortunately, they include my least favorite set of tasks. I don't care about retrieving the First Wave Husks or damaging the Snitch as they are both fairly easy. On the other hand, downloading hidden bunker data, compromising Rocketeers, and compromising ground-based ARCs have proven to be the biggest problems for me. I'm not the only one who feels this way. Others echo similar sentiments.

ARC Raiders need to make hidden bunkers available more often.

The biggest complaint I've had with this week's trial is the issue downloading data from the Hidden Bunker. The Hidden Bunker event itself isn't the hardest to complete, and it doesn't take long for players to work together to activate all the rooftop antenna dishes to unlock the bunker. However, the problem with this trial version is mainly its availability.

Special events like Hidden Bunker only run at certain times of the day, putting players who can't play during those times at a disadvantage. Currently, Hidden Bunker operates during the day when I am working and even when I am asleep late at night. This isn't just a problem for me, as anyone playing in a similar time zone will face the same problem. To make this event more accessible, ARC Raiders Hidden bunkers should be launched more frequently to give more players a chance to access them during prime time.

Arc Raider-Hulkcracker-Weapon

Nerfs to Hulkcracker and Explosives make it difficult to damage Rocket Pilots and ground ARC enemies.

There were nerfs to Hulkcracker and Explosives last week. ARC Raiders Patch 1.3.0 also seems to be having a ripple effect on this week's exams. While it was much more important to deal damage to Queens or Matriarchs during the trials, it is now much more difficult to use Hullcracker to deal damage to Rocketeers and ground ARC enemies like Bastions and Bombardiers. To make matters worse, explosives also do less damage to these large ground ARCs. This means you can't use the Deadline Mine strategy to get rid of them quickly.

The surge in PvP with ARC Raiders has made completing every trial a gamble.

The most frustrating part of this week's exam is the increase in PvPers killing me and interfering with my scoring. I'm not against PvP ARC RaidersI believe this adds tension to the gameplay loop. But while the game's first few weeks felt like it had a good balance of PvP and co-op PvE moments, it's now spiraled out of control.

ARC Raiders' Streamer Wars Increase PvP

It is unclear whether this is the root cause of the rise. ARC Raiders It's PvP, but I suspect the streamer war between TheBurntPeanut and HutchMF played a role. Although TheBurntPeanut later declared an end to the war and his Bungulator faction claimed victory, I still saw players from this faction shooting other people wearing the opposing faction's skins on sight. Since I'm not a part of this war, another challenge this week has been navigating which skins are ok to wear without being tracked by other players. Now that the war is presumed to be over, it is hoped that the situation will calm down a bit so that the test can be completed peacefully.

Next week's test should relieve ailing ARC Raiders players.

Despite the challenges this week's exams have caused me, I'm still on pace to move up the ranks once the week is over. ARC Raiders There's an opportunity to get through a tough exam week by taking an easier exam next week. I would like to see work like this:

  • damage wasp

  • harvest plants

  • Destroy ticks, fireballs and pops

Wasps are plentiful, easy to damage, and don't pose much of a threat in return, so completing this task isn't too difficult. Harvesting plants was already a task from last week's test, but I found a good spot in the Trench on the Spaceport map that I used to quickly complete it. Mites, fireballs, and pops are also very easy to destroy, as they spawn in various indoor locations and are destroyed with just a shot or two from an anvil-like gun.

ARC Raiders Pop

This will make next week's exams a lot easier, but it still doesn't solve the thorny PvP issues. ARC Raiders This week. Maybe it's just that I'm unlucky with matchmaking, so there's still hope that things will improve in the coming weeks. But I have to admit, my experience ARC Raiders'This week's exams have dampened my opinion of the game somewhat, and I hope that changes soon.
