It all seems to have started when HutchMF was taken down during an on-stream PvP battle. The person who took down HutchMF reportedly taunted the streamer by saying, “For the Bungulators.” This was a reference to a group of players led by streamer Burnt Peanut. After the loss, HutchMF took to social media and declared “war.” Immediately a line was drawn in the sand, and other large flags joined in as well. Streamers like Ninja and Shroud joined Burnt Peanut, and other content creators like TimTheTatman and Nickmercs joined HutchMF, but not everyone wanted to join the fight.

ARC Radar recently revealed new rules for a faction called Civilians of Speranza in a Twitter post. Those wishing to join this faction must agree to avoid PvP, encounter and resurrect fallen raiders, remain neutral in streamer wars, recruit other allied gamers, and wear the faction's designated uniform. Wearing a uniform may seem strange at first, but it fits the current turf war. Each faction has its own set of cosmetics to show off which streamer they have pledged allegiance to. For example, Burnt Peanut's Bungulators wear a red variant of the Striker skin. Speranza's civilians are expected to wear the blue and white Ultra Marine variant. ARC Raiders' A rider skin that had a bit of a bad reputation when the title was first released.
But not everyone wants to participate, so streamer-led turf wars are causing more than a few problems. Some gamers took to Reddit to vent their frustration, with one player posting that he can no longer wear his favorite costume in the game unless he considers himself part of Burnt Peanut's Bungulators. This isn't the first time some players have faced obstacles while trying to enjoy the game. ARC RaidersMany gamers have complained about the entire PvP element of the title.
In the past, the extraction shooting genre attracted a fairly niche audience; ARC Raiders It caught the attention of a larger crowd. This has caused some strife within the community, as some players want to participate in the PvP elements of the title, while others are only interested in the PvE offerings. The difference between playing solo and in a group can sometimes be frustrating, as the experience can be vastly different. In general, solo lobbies tend to be a bit friendlier as gamers regularly team up with ARCs. Meanwhile, cooperation is quite limited in group play, as gamers tend to fight each other more often.
Fans who are only interested in PvE content will be interested in what Embark Studios recently revealed. ARC Raiders'The original concept was a cooperative PvE experience. While announcing the game, the developers took inspiration from titles such as: shadow of the colossus and Left 4 Dead. It was only later that the vision expanded to include PvP elements, significantly changing the future direction of the game. While the final product may not appeal to the same audience as the original concept, there's no doubt that the developers have struck gold.
