in Ghost of Yotei – The sequel to Sucker Punch’s 2019 samurai sim. Ghost of Tsushima – The main antagonist took a turn from the latter's Mongol invasion to something much more intimate and personal. The game's protagonist, Atsu, sets out to find the infamous organization in the Ezo region of northern Japan that is responsible for the game's inciting incident and Atsu's deep-rooted trauma.
This organization Yotei Six, The lawless North was led by one man: the leader of the group; Mr. Saito. However, these are not the only political parties keeping an eye on North Korea. The Shogun in the seat of power in the south has grand plans of his own for the region, and recruits the Matsumae clan to see those plans come to fruition. It is within this vortex that Atsu ventures with one goal in mind: To destroy the Yotei Six at all costs.

Who are the Yotei Six in Ghost of Yotei?
A dangerous group, and the object of Atsu's revenge:
At first glance, the Yotei Six may seem like a monolith that moves the story forward, a stereotypical evil organization that exists only as an obstacle to the heroes. However, as you progress through the game, you will discover that things are not that simple. The old saying goes, 'No one is the villain of his own story,' and this is especially true for most members of the Yotei Six.
The Yotei Six is a group, but Atsu has never faced such a group. She tracks down each member of Yotei SIx one at a time, learning their individual stories. As with many things during war, Atsu learns that not all stories are black and white. Those individual members are:
- snake
- Oni
- The Kitsune
- spider and dragon
- Lord Saito
At startup Yotei's Ghost, We learn that each member of the Yotei Six participated in the violent murder of the Atsu family. Atsu was forced to watch and was pinned to a tree with his father's sword. This event Ghost of Yotei's journey of revenge is underway and reveals much about Lord Saito and his band of followers.
Who is the snake in Ghost of Yotei?
People who love alcohol and violence:
Snake occupies a strange position among the members. Yotei Six. While he is the first member of the group to encounter Atsu's Wolf Blade, he is also the member we learn the least about. What we discovered about The Snake is that he seems to live up to his name. He appears just as evil in flashbacks as he does in Atsu's current timeline, moving in and out of several scenes he's in.
Snake wields a katana and serves as a great introduction. Ghost of YoteiThe basic sword fighting mechanics. The fight with the snake also serves as the game's dramatic opening, serving as the centerpiece of the ghost mythology, as well as determining Atsu's status as an onryo among Ezo's various citizens. Once Snake is delisted, the act itself follows Atsu throughout the game, but we don't know much about what turned him into such a pitiful man.
Who are the oni from Ghost of Yotei?
The vain and violent leader of Saito's army:
Oni He's likely the first member of the Yotei Six to actually track down, which gives him a lot more information than The Snake. Oni first appear in the opening flashback and appear as giant beasts of man wielding giant odachi. His massive armor and fearsome mask are clearly intended to strike fear into the hearts of his enemies, conjuring images of actual Oni, mythical demons from Japanese folklore.
Oni was once a handsome man, and the picture Atsu faces when she meets him testifies to the fact that she misses the days when masks were not necessary. However, Atsu himself used his father's sword to cut off his father's face during the Night of the Burning Tree, ensuring that the Oni could hide behind the mask forever. After Atsu was pinned to a tree by Lord Saito, The Oni attempted revenge by setting the tree on fire. His obsession with flames continues into the present-day timeline, where he is known for burning both living enemies and civilians.
Who is the Kitsune in Ghost of Yotei?
The mysterious leader of the Nine-Tailed Fox Shinobi:
Named after the mischievous, shapeshifting fox spirit, Kitsune is the most mysterious member of the Yotei Six, especially at the start of the game. In the opening cutscene, the kitsune moves in silence throughout the night, and does not seem to engage in any of the violent acts that their fellow members seem to enjoy.
Later we learn that Kitsune is the leader of the Nine Tails, Lord Saito's shinobi army. He acts from the shadows to see his iron will carried out. Located in the northernmost region of the snow-capped Teshio Ridge, the Kitsune use a complex system of codes and puzzles to hide a complex system of hiding places and training areas. A kitsune wielding a kusarigama and poison gas is probably considered the toughest challenge. Ghost of YoteiFirst half. But all is not as it seems in Kitsune. As the story progresses, Atsu will face challenges he is completely unprepared for.
Who are the spiders and dragons in Ghost of Yotei?
An inseparable pair, a bond weakening:
From the moment it was introduced to Yotei's Ghost, Spiders and dragons are presented as a pair. Because not only are they brothers and sisters, but they are also Lord Saito's children. And while it's clear that Lord Saito has placed his children in positions of great power and authority, it's also clear that his faith in their abilities is waning based on the current timeline.
Both brothers prefer the safety of firearms over the unpredictable nature of hand-to-hand combat. As the game progresses, it becomes clear that the brothers were responsible for Atsu believing her brother Jubei was dead. It is also becoming increasingly clear that the brothers do not have identical personalities. The spider spends a lot of time directly ignoring his father's commands. He is impetuous and impulsive, so at least on the surface the dragon appears to be much more devoted to Lord Saito.
Who is Lord Saito in Ghost of Yotei?
Dishonored clan leader and sworn enemy of Atsu:
when Ghost of Yotei When you start Lord Saito He is merely the ruler of some group of outlaws. But as the story progresses, we learn that the Yotei Six are much more than that. Lord Saito was once the leader of the Saito clan, but was removed and exiled by the Shogun. Fleeing to the lawless northern land of Ezo, Saito swore revenge on the shogun and the vassals who betrayed him when he was removed as clan leader.
These are the events that led Lord Saito to Atsu's house on that fateful night. In Lord Saito's mind, honor was to be the example of this family. He never thought that by taking such decisive action he would sow the seeds of his own destruction. However, Lord Saito is not a one-dimensional character. Throughout the game, he is presented with several opportunities to kill Atsu, but he does not take them. It doesn't seem like Lord Saito regrets it in any way, but perhaps there's a part of him that knows that Atsu deserves justice, or at least has a chance at it.
