For decades of printing, various special effects have been introduced in Pokemon Trading Card Game and to finish work every few years. Some have become a necessity for collectors and players, but others have not continued to expand.
From strange design to overwhelming mechanical holes, Pokemon Company has done everything to mix the same format again and again in a unique way. From Crystal Pokemon to Golden Pokemon, from the various Pokemon of a single card, there is no limit to what special effects are.
Crystal and shining
Too many types
The earlyest special effects in TCG are some of the worst designs, and there is a clear pain that the game must go through to reach the current Polish level. Shinning Pokemon is the first form of sparkling Pokemon in TCG, and as with Crystal Pokemon, it usually requires multiple types of energy to use attacks.
SHINNING POKEMON is not useful at home, but Crystal Pokemon is deserved to receive a full list for terrible reasons. Crystal Pokemon is all colorless types, but their movements require at least three different energy types to use them for attackless attacks.
Legend and V-Union
Many cards for one Pokemon are bad.
Most Pokemon contains confidence in a single card, but there are many cases. The legendary card is divided into two half of the cards, but there is a problem that you need to pull each of the cards separately to have a full card.
The era of the Sword & Shield has been brought back to a similar mechanical ball of the V-field card for a very short period of time, but it was worse to use. Geting more than one card for a single Pokemon is like evolution. However, these special effects are awkward to bring from the deck because of lack of support.
Bright and dark
Pick
One of the most missing special effects of the entire TCG is always bright and dark Pokemon. This card will take Pokemon to give a malicious or pure twist.
The light Pokemon was not unique outside the work of the sky, but the Dark Pokemon was at least a little interesting. Dark Pokemon has a dark type of darkness and a more evil work work on almost every original type. But like a light Pokemon, they still felt lacking.
Terrace
Crystal special effects are always severe.
The shiny crystallized terrace Pokemon usually has a completely different type than usual. But they still take the general type of energy. This will allow you to cover more weaknesses and to hit the type that you can usually not use without covering more weaknesses.
TERA POKEMON is an interesting concept, but at the end of the Scarlet & Violet era, it felt like it had not reached its potential at all. After a while, the only TERA POKEMON printed was the same TERA type as the normal form, which made it feel like a general Pokemon.
Delta bell
Type Change Power
Delta species Pokemon does one simple thing, but is one of the best tcgs. The type of Pokemon is changed to completely different. This can be quite random, but in other cases it can be perfectly matched, as the red shining gyarados becomes the same type of fire.
Unlike other types of change mechanisms that have been seen in many forms over the years, Delta species are one of the most executed versions. With a brilliant artwork that uses a new type to showcase Pokemon, Delta species Pokemon actually shines by maintaining its original weakness and resistance.
Break
Barely breakthrough
In the X & Y era, the modern TCG forged the brilliant way, and the special effects of this era, which people often forgot, are rest cards. This horizontal or -oriented card is characterized by 'breaking' Pokemon after the limits and provides more HP and new movements.
Outside of a simple visual design, the brake card had a great idea, but sufficient support was not printed. One of the unique parts of the brake card is a way for them to use Pokemon's abilities and attacks, which led to a way to mix excellent cards and play well.
Owner's Pokemon
The best friend in life
The owner's Pokemon, also known as Trainer's Pokemon, was one of the most consistent special effects in TCG's history and is one of the best for collectors. This card features a game trainer with Pokemon you own, and this card is absolutely amazing when you have a whole art transformation.
The only problem with the owner's Pokémon is that it often makes the entire architecture very weak in the same Aki type and not sufficient support with only other Pokemon in the same arcy type. This leads to a mechanic overlap when only Pokemon that can be used outside of special effects.
Gold star
Shiny glory
Most special effects are trying to be a big chase card for each new expansion, but it's not close to the dignity, a gold star card. In this reggal card, the symbolic shiny pokemon is ruptured in his frame, and there is a nice pattern.
The greatness of Gold Star was so great, like the real sparkling Pokemon, it was a tremendous difficult to come, and it was the most difficult way to draw a card in the pre -scan and violet era. This may sound bad, but it's actually a treat and one of the most valuable cards because of its rare.
Tag team
The two are better than one
Pokemon cards often have several Pokemon in art. But this was the time taken with its own special effects. Tag team cards have two Pokemon or two trainers that form a team with a duo and sometimes combine strengths with powerful cards.
There was only a small problem with how the tag team GX card was balanced and could be overwhelming. To respond to this, this card provides three phase cards when it falls, but it matches it so fast and short. The tag team card was a great idea, but the Power Creep turned out to be too many.
Ace specification
There may be only one!
ACE SPECS, which debuted in the Black and white era, is a machine that provides powerful utility in the form of a single trainer card. Ace specifications are unique in that they have the best ability in the entire TCG at the cost of only one deck.
The Era of Scarlet & Violet has regained this special effect and introduced a new type of ACE specifications to the stadium and special energy cards. The problem with this card is that many players run exactly the same cards, despite whether there are many options because it is only allowed per deck.
