Job Simulator is a futuristic educational experience that takes you on a journey through specialized museum exhibits to relive what the game optimistically calls “the glory days of work.” You can tell it’s from the future because the only time someone would call a “glory day” is at least 10 years after they retired.
It doesn't matter if you're good at your chosen profession in Job Simulator or not, because the profession itself is a risk-free simulation. Sure, the game might occasionally say “You're fired,” but no matter how many customers you accidentally killed in your restaurant or how slow your scanner is, you can always try again. Whoa, that's not rocket science… Oh, wait a minute.
It's nice to have a shift or two in Kerbal Space Program and just launch rockets without testing anything. Kerbals are very cooperative guys and always enjoy launching rockets that explode a little or can end entire civilizations without a care in the world. If there's a game where it's okay to be a rocket scientist without having studied rocket science, this is it.
To be fair, not everyone who plays Kerbal Space Program is actually bad at their job, and a significant number of players have created engineering marvels that are literally out of this world. Unfortunately for Kerbal players, however, not everyone who plays the game has that kind of talent.

Moving Out and its amazing sequel have made it clear that the 'dysfunctional co-op conquest' style of gaming made famous by Overcooked is here to stay, and while that will no doubt spell disaster for the households of those who live in the game's virtual lands, it's also meant good times for most everyone else.
As you take on the role of newly hired professional movers with your friends, you'll soon be snowboarding down the palace steps, throwing expensive televisions and couches out of second-floor windows, and figuring out how to pack all that junk into a too-small moving truck.
2 Overcooked 2
Hell's Kitchen Gets More Intense
No matter how good you think you are at cooking, Overcooked 2 will eventually prove you wrong. No one who plays this game can stay calm for long as they are tasked with cooking for their lives in the face of an impending apocalypse, and the resulting chaos is great for fans of multiplayer games. Sure, you can fail a level here, but you will never get fired or lose your job as a professional chef.
None of the chefs in Overcooked 2, even when they're at their best, can claim to be really good at what they do. Are they good at throwing fire extinguishers around the kitchen? Yes. Are they good at yelling at their friends for doing the wrong thing at the wrong time? Sure. Are they good at cooking? No way.
1 Dr. Mario
So where did you put your doctoral thesis?
Dr. Mario is the most famous medical professional in gaming today, aside from the surgeon Joel killed at the end of The Last Of Us Part 1. With that kind of reputation, you'd think that when you play as Dr. Mario, you'd be playing as a trained professional who knows exactly how to treat each patient. But Dr. Mario is constantly shoving pills down people's throats.
If he had actually done so, he wouldn't have had to worry about getting fired, and he would probably have expected at least six wrongful death lawsuits. But in the Mushroom Kingdom, Dr. Mario only shows up to work once a month, and he engages in exactly the same harmful practices every time. It might make for a fun puzzle game, but it also makes him a very poor doctor who doesn't get fired for his actions.
