Without the Marines, pirates would be the dominant force. one piece. Those who serve the organization do their best to prevent pirates from causing havoc worldwide. Obviously, some marines are more dedicated to the cause and put more effort into their work.
Unfortunately, their actions are not always recognized. The superiors can be biased and, if they wish, can turn a blind eye to the accomplishments of the soldiers. With that in mind, here are some Marines who deserve to be promoted for their accomplishments.
7 Kujaku
Current rank: Major General
Kujaku is the granddaughter of the legendary naval officer Tsuru. Kujaku is bold and rarely takes on challenges. She is confident in her abilities and does not hesitate to take on dangerous missions.
Kujaku possesses the Paramecia-type Devil Fruit, Muchi Muchi no Mi. Its power is tied to her whip. When a person is attacked, they inevitably become submissive to Kujaku and follow her every command. This ability is not limited to living beings. Inanimate objects such as buildings can also be turned into obedient slaves. Kujaku played a key role in rescuing Koby from Hachinosu, thus proving that she deserves the promotion.
6 Prince Grus
Current rank: Major General
Prince Grus is one of the new generation of Marines. He is one of the few young Marines who has proven his ability to handle difficult situations. Grus was first introduced in a cover story involving Bege's family. However, his official debut was in the Egghead arc.
Prince Grus is a talented fighter, as evidenced by his performance in helping Garp rescue Koby in Hachinos. Using Gunyo Gunyo no Mi, Grus created clay golems to attack and distract the pirates of Hachinos. Grus is incredibly talented, but he may need to work a little harder to become a vice admiral.
5 Bogard
Current Rank: Unknown
Bogard is Monkey D. Garp's right hand man. He has been a member of the organization for decades and his loyalty to the Navy is unquestionable. Bogard has not been involved in too many fights, but he has tremendous experience. He knows his limits and does not rush in recklessly without thinking.
Bogard's rank is unclear, but it is assumed to be at least a second lieutenant. If so, Bogard certainly qualifies as a rear admiral or at least a commodore. With the story wrapping up quickly, it won't be long before fans learn Bogard's true powers and rank.
4 Rosinante
Last known rank: Commander
Donquixote Rocinante was Homing's son. Unlike his brother, Rocinante was kind and caring. He knew that Doflamingo was on a path of destruction, so he decided to stop him through undercover investigation. Rocinante joined the Navy and returned to Doflamingo to monitor his activities.
Rocinante was very good at his job, and his Devil Fruit played a crucial role in his deception of his brother and the rest of the crew. Rocinante's Naginaginomi nullified surrounding sounds, which suited his scheme perfectly. Rocinante obtained all the important details regarding Doflamingo, and without Vergo, the latter would never have found out. Rocinante was only a Commander at the time of his death. A man of his level should have been at least a Captain.
3 X Drake
Current rank: Major General
X-Drake is the captain of SWORD, a top secret organization within the Navy. He has been undercover for years, making everyone believe he is a supernova and wants to become a big pirate. X-Drake successfully infiltrates the Beasts Pirates to learn more about Yonko's plans and informs his fellow SWORD members.
X-Drake possesses Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Allosaurus. It is an ancient Zoan-type Devil Fruit that allows him to transform into Allosaurus. It significantly increases his physical attributes, allowing him to fight stronger enemies without any problems. X-Drake is currently a Rear Admiral, but a promotion is definitely on the cards.
2 Kobe
Current rank: Captain
When he was introduced, no one would have guessed that Coby would become one of the most underrated One Piece characters. After Luffy saved him from Alvida’s clutches, he joined the Navy. After that, Garp took Coby under his wing and trained him to become stronger. The training was a huge success, and Coby eventually improved both physically and mentally.
Kobe was involved in the Rocky Port Incident, earning him the nickname “Hero.” Kobe was also involved in the massive battle at Hachinos, where he destroyed Pizarro's giant arm with a single blow. In addition to these accomplishments, Kobe was supported by Garp, who called him the future of the Navy. With all this in mind, Kobe deserves to be at least a Vice Admiral.
1 smoker
Current rank: Lieutenant General
The smoker is one of the few recurring characters. one piece A person who has no connection to the Straw Hat Pirates. Smoker debuted in the Log Town arc, defeating Luffy and almost capturing him. However, Dragon saved his son and thwarted Smoker's plan. Smoker did not give up and followed the Straw Hat Pirates into the Grand Line.
Despite the lack of screen time, Smoker is still a fan favorite and they have high hopes for him. One of the main reasons Smoker is likely to be promoted is because he is one of the few Marines who cares about the welfare of the people. He opposes the manipulation of news that the Marine Corps' current hierarchy is so fond of. For now, Smoker will remain a lieutenant general, but he will most likely be the one to lead the Marine Corps.
