It's been a long time, but after 7 months of launch, GSC Game World finally worked on the missing A-LIFE system of Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. In November 2024, the game began by half -baked by Ukraine's invasion of Russia. Patch 1.5, the latest update, finally added more things in line with GSC's original vision.

GCS GAME WORLD has been able to pause development, delay the game several times, and move the office due to the war, so I can understand that the game is not perfect at the launch. But the patch notes have finally revealed everything we want in Stalker 2.
Stalker 2's A-LIFE system is now completely fixed
According to the patch notes for the latest updates, developers have greatly re-worked the A-LIFE system, and this area now feels like a living breathing object. The problem related to the NPC does nothing and the instance of the “pop” effect must be greatly reduced after this update.
The improved system now allows all NPCs in the area to work according to the schedule as well as considering the player. You will also meet the stalker you met before. After the overall visualization range increases to empty the area and avoid the explosion of the texture, mutations and enemies are suddenly not reappeared.
First of all, this update introduces new weapons such as Three Line Rifle and KORA HANDGUN and new ideals called Water Electric Tornado. You can also plunder mutant parts now. All of this comes with a series of modifications and improving the quality of life.
The second largest update introduced is the official mode tool that can be accessible through the EPIC Game Store. However, if the zone tool is called, it requires a hard drive space of about 700GB to download.
