8 Jujutsu Kaisen Characters Who Really Don't Deserve Hate

As more and more fans become involved with the series, Do a jujutsu Fandoms sometimes become even more cruel. One bad choice, one loss, one emotionally turbulent scene, and your character will become a meme. “fraud.” “bum.” “drossy.” It's funny until you understand how often these poor characters are made fun of. In a series built on moral gray areas, impossible decisions, and trauma, it's impossible to judge characters based solely on results.

Not all imperfect personalities are poorly developed. Not all losses result in incapacity. And not all questionable moral actions make people inseparable. These eight characters get dragged around here and there, but when you read what Gege Akutami is actually trying to convey, the hate usually communicates more to the fandom than to the characters.

JJK's Shinjuku Showdown arc was brutal and almost eliminated many fan-favorite characters.

Yoshinobu Kakuganji

Yoshinobu Kakuganji

Gakuganji is often demonized as a conservative of the Old Guard who executed Yaga on his orders and targeted Yuji. Readers perceive him as a boring tool of top management that hinders development. In fact, he was also a victim of the system that thought he was saving the world from the uncertain dangers of Sukuna.

Something to consider is that immediately after killing Yaga, he felt remorse and decided to keep the secret of the cursed corpse, which most people overlook. He did not hand over that power to corrupt officials. Because he reserved that power for a new generation. He's been able to prove that even a cog in the machine can have a conscience when it counts, which makes him more than just a mean-spirited schoolmaster.

Kurusu Hana (angel)

Kurusu Hana and Sukuna Jujutsu

Hana is also heavily criticized for falling for Sukuna's blatant actions against Megumi and losing her arm. Words like stupid and useless are used to criticize her for letting her guard down in a dangerous situation.

But in the end, Hana is just a girl in love, and Sukuna is a master manipulator who knows how to take advantage of human weaknesses. She wasn't looking at her monster. She was looking at the boy who had saved her life all those years ago, and that made her reaction so tragically human.

6

Naoya Genin

Naoya Genin

Naoya is probably the character I hate the most to love. Because he is a misogynistic person and unrealistically arrogant towards women, especially Maki. His character is objectively terrible. However, he is a child of the corrupt environment of the Zenin clan, where cruelty and membership of the elite are encouraged. The way the clan itself treated Toji and Maki shows that the system was evil and that Naoya was the most vocal participant.

Naoya, despite his flaws, is one of the most effective fighters in the series and possesses incredible speed thanks to Projection Sorcery. His combat IQ is top-notch and fans remember his defeats, but if he hadn't been blinded by his ego and used a powerful cursed weapon, he probably would have won every fight. He is a tragic example of how a prestigious education can turn enormous talent into a tool of self-destruction.

mei mei

mei mei

Meimei is often criticized and seen as the greediest character on the show, and no one can forget her strange relationship with her older brother, Ui-Ui. Both these reasons and her selfish nature make her universally hated by fans. But in a world where death is the norm, her cool-headed realism is a realistic way to become a wizard.

She provides much-needed logistics, surveillance, and financial support to keep Jujutsu High running in the background. Her personal life and motivations are questionable and unusual, but her power and skill, Bird Strike, is one of the few abilities that allows her to one-shot Special Grade. She may not like it, but she deserves a much better fate.

4

Wooywooy

Ui Ui looks contentedly at the feathers falling from Mei Mei's crow in Jujutsu Kaisen.

Poor Uiwui also finds herself in the middle of hatred towards her younger sister, Meimei. He became the target of memes as fans dismissed him as a creepy sidekick with a strange obsession. However, considering the Shinjuku showdown, the MVP of the last episode will probably be Ui Ui.

Without his teleportation skills, none of the lost corpses, the soul's training moves, or the wizard's tactical retreat would have happened. He was essentially a medic and supply center for the Sukuna War. He risked his life several times, and despite his idiosyncrasies, his courage proved to be the greatest.

Jujutsu Kaisen: 7 Anime Moments That Are Better Than the Manga

The Jujutsu Kaisen manga is great, but there are some things about the anime that are much better.

3

Hajime Casimo

Hajime Kashimo of Jujutsu Kaisen

Kasimo is no longer the God of Thunder, but is called the biggest “fraud” as he is so quickly defeated by Sukuna's true form. This is a betrayal of the fans who accused her of being a fraud since she has not suffered any major damage since she transformed into the mythical beast Amber. This hatred does not take note of the fact that he was the only one bold enough to jump into the ring immediately after Gojo was murdered.

Cassimo dedicated his life to achieving fleeting achievements against the most powerful beings, and he died true to his warrior ideology. He had waited centuries for a worthy opponent and was willing to challenge Sukuna with all his might. His defeat does not diminish him or his power in any way, but it was a way of showing how strong Sukuna had become at that point.

2

Yorozu

Jujutsu Line Curling Game Yorozu’s Strongest Wizard
Jujutsu Line Curling Game Yorozu’s Strongest Wizard

Yorozu is often seen as a so-called Sukuna fangirl who squandered her potential on a strange, obsessive crush. Her appearance at the curling game irritated fans, especially because she had Tsumiki's body. However, Yorozu depicts the distorted perception of love during the Heian period, when power and destruction were the only means of communicating and connecting with someone.

She was not just a fan, she was a force resisting the King of Damnation on her own terms. Her tragedy is the lonely pursuit of a love that can only manifest itself in the conflict between death and death, making her a dark mirror to Gojo and Sukuna. Her cursed skills were one of the more unique and powerful ones in the series, and fans think it's a shame she wasn't given a proper storyline.

1

Megumi Fushiguro

Megumi Fushiguro died at JJK Modulo.
Spellbound Megumi Fushiguro

The “potential man” meme has already reached its limits. Fans call Megumi a “tramp” because she lost control of her body in the final arc. This doesn't take into account that Megumi's soul had to endure multiple attacks from the Infinite Void, and that she had to watch her own sister die by her own hands. His refusal to fight was not cowardice, but the result of a complete psychological and spiritual breakdown of a teenager who had lost everything.

Megumi has carried the burden of the world since he was a child, and it is absurd to expect him to wake up after such a trauma. Others have forgotten that his tactical brilliance and the Ten Shadows were the only reasons the group survived the initial arc. He's not a bum. He's just a broken kid who's finally reached his limits in a world that won't stop stealing.
