She may not appear too much in the series compared to other supporting characters, but she appears in Mt. Lady has certainly left a lasting impression on her fans, for better or worse. She is an incredibly selfish person who sometimes seems to enjoy the notoriety and privileges that come with her status as a hero more than actually being one. Kohei Horikoshi created many of the series' main villains into sympathetic characters that fans came to empathize with. Some fans even prefer certain villains over the main characters. Overhaul is not one of those villains. In fact, he's so good at the role that some fans can't stand him.

Mineta Minoru
I can't list some of the things I dislike the most. MHA A character that does not mention Mineta. Perhaps one of the most impressive members of Class 1-A, Mineta won't see much action as a potential pro hero. But his overwhelming quirks and small role in the story aren't the reason fans hate him.
Mineta's entire personality centers around him becoming comically perverted. It is a defining trait of his character. So you can see why certain fans may be rubbing you the wrong way. He has his moments here and there, but to many he embodies what they feel is an outdated trope.
Inasa Yoarashi
First introduced in the Provisional Hero License Exam arc, Inasa Yoarashi's personality certainly makes him stand out among others. My Hero Academia Support characters. Inasa's intense personality may be too much for some people. He is incredibly energetic and not afraid to say whatever is on his mind. While those aren't necessarily bad qualities, there's something about Inasa that bothers some fans the wrong way.
His initial actions towards Shoto didn't do much for his stock, and his first impressions made him seem rather petty to the fan-favorite character. Overall, I don't have a huge problem with the character Inasa, but it's easy to see why there are fans who don't like him.
Yuga Aoyama
For most of the series, Aoyama was a fairly harmless, if somewhat annoying character. His bombastic and comically vain personality certainly drove some fans astray, but it wasn't until he was revealed to be a UA traitor that some fans started to get excited about him.
This development made Aoyama, who had been a pretty one-dimensional comic relief character up until that point, much more fleshed out, but it didn't win him many fans. While there are certainly some who have some sympathy for his situation, his irritating personality and his major betrayal were too harsh for many.
Toga Himiko
Toga may be one of the most polarizing characters. My Hero Academia. While she has an incredibly loyal fan base within the community, there are also many fans who don't like her as a character or can't justify her actions.
Many people cite the terrible treatment Toga suffered growing up as the reason they like her, and it is true that she is a victim of a society that ostracizes people with disturbing or noticeably different oddities/appearances. However, many fans don't see this as an excuse for her behavior. Toga killed an undetermined number of people, some in self-defense and others less justified. Even if some fans can't stand her or don't like her character, she will probably continue to be a popular character for years to come.

Endeavor is another incredibly polarizing character, whose past actions have had a huge impact on both the main narrative and his personal life throughout the series. For much of the series and its run, Endeavor was an incredibly brazen and prideful man whose ambition to surpass All Might led him to abuse, neglect, and ultimately destroy his family.
Endeavor has one of the best character arcs in the series, as he acknowledges the pain he has caused his family, accepts the consequences of his actions, and sets aside the ambitions that have ruined his life and the lives of his loved ones and instead seeks redemption. To many fans, he is an irredeemable person who has harmed those closest to him. Fans may appreciate his arc and how he strives to atone for his sins, but he will always be a hated character by many.
