Moreover, when there was no answer to Madara's overwhelming power in the war, Gai stepped in and delivered a fight that remains memorable to this day.

Obito Uchiha
Obito was Minato's student and one of the main antagonists of the series. He had extremely overpowering jutsu, some of which made him virtually invincible. Obito primarily used Kamui, which made his entire body intangible, meaning no attack could harm him. When he became a sage, he single-handedly took over the entire Shinobi Union and almost easily annihilated it. It took the combined might of an alliance to take him down, a sign of his enormous level of power.

Kakashi Hatake
Kakashi is a famous and feared ninja respected by everyone. When he was young, he copied heavenly techniques and was called Copy Ninja. Kakashi's mastery of the Sharingan was one of the best in the series. In the Fourth Ninja War, Kakashi received a power-up with the help of Obito Uchiha. With this power, he had access to Dual Kamui, Full Body Susanoo, and many Six Paths powers. With that, he overpowered Kaguya herself, but even Naruto and Sasuke failed.

Sasuke is a talented ninja who has become powerful in a very short period of time. He surpassed all his predecessors and had better visual jutsu than most Uchiha, including Madara. His abilities include Amaterasu, controlling the unquenchable flame to a degree never before seen in Kagutsuchi. Blessed with the chakra of the Sage of the Six Paths, he gained the Rinnegan, which allows him to use the highest level of teleportation techniques, and better genjutsu that allows him to subdue the Tail Beasts with a glance.
Uzumaki Naruto
Naruto Uzumaki became the leaf hero who saved the world. His powers have made him the most powerful Hokage in history and one of the most powerful characters in the series. His list of abilities is exhaustive, the most notable being the Six Paths Chakra mode. Naruto's strength and speed reached a whole new level after gaining this power in the war, and he was able to fight Madara head on with that power. Additionally, Naruto fought Kaguya in the final battle and ultimately helped defeat her.
